For practicality, applications such as Teamviewer, AnyDesk and Radmin are preferred to Windows Remote Desktop. Machines are normally fitted with display emulators. Via a remote connection, only a single display is seen. If we connect actual monitors to the PC's then the same problem exists. No, you don't get multi monitor view with RDP. Works just like Win7. On the rare occasion I need to view the multiple monitors I use AnyDesk AnyDesk - The World's Fastest Remote Desktop Application. AnyDesk now supports Perfect Forward Secrecy to strengthen its already strong security for data transfer. Remote printing improvement: AnyDesk now allows to pring local files on the remote computer. Multi-monitor suppport: Hotkeys can now be used to switch between the remote monitors. Hotkey combination Ctrl+Alt+Shift+left/right to iterate.

Today we would like to introduce our switch sides feature. Imagine you need to show your client how something works on your computer, there is no need to close your session and open a new one the other way round. You only need to select the menu “Action” and then click on “switch sides”. Later, you can switch back by selecting the same command.

In which cases is this function extremely useful?
As mentioned earlier, sometimes during a support session, you might want to show something on your screen. For example, to explain the UI of your software application to your customer, who doesn’t have it filled with data, yet.
Or maybe for data protection reasons, you might want your customer to actively start a support session with you. Nothing easier! Just tell your customer your computer’s AnyDesk address and let him connect. Then, when the session is established, ask him to switch sides. Now you can start controling your customer’s computer like you usually do. It’s that simple!

Windows 10 + DisplayFusion + AnyDesk + Dual Monitors = Constant Resolution Change
1 discussion post | Hi all, Like the subject states, I am having constant resolution changes with the combination of DisplayFusion and AnyDesk remote software. My main monitor is in 4K resolution and my second monitor is in 1080p. When I am connected into my PC remotely through AnyDesk, after a few minutes my main resolution will drop to 1080p, I will lose dual monitors (both are still listed but they are mirrored), and I get a DisplayFusion notification that my resolution has changed. This does not happen when I'm in front of the machine, only when I remote in. Because this doesn't happen locally, I know it's not any fault with DisplayFusion. Most likely, it's AnyDesk not playing fair. However, I haven't been able to get a straight answer out of AnyDesk, so I'm here. Does anyone else have this combination and the same issues? It's a crap shoot how long I'll be connected before my resolution drops. Thanks in advance for any insight. RC |
We haven't run into that before but I don't recall any other customers running the same combination of hardware and software. If you exit DisplayFusion after connecting through AnyDesk, does it still happen? | |
